Live Opening: Bono / Burattini
Inspired by three films by avant-garde filmmaker Maya Deren, Francesca Bono and Vittoria Burattini have created a hypnotic collection of songs based on the use of the Juno-60 synthesiser and the organic, linear sound of a drum kit. These apparent limitations form the basis of ‘Sound in a Transfigured Time’, the first album under the Bono / Burattini name released on 24 February 2023 by Maple Death Records, a rich and rewarding journey that immediately establishes a strong identity by oscillating between circular soundscapes and psychedelic rhythmic architectures
