Talassa (from the Greek θαλασσα, ‘sea’) is a unique song of denunciation and hope. Dario Muci, as a storyteller of his land and its contradictions, becomes a megaphone of true stories, of sea and land, of Salento and migrants, of work and exploitation, pain and, always and everywhere, love. His voice is steeped in history, battles, people without a voice to whom Dario gives his own.

An original concert and a new form of writing for Dario Muci who, after twenty-five years of activity and research in the field, debuts with his first record of unreleased songs.  

True stories, of current events and of the past, of sea and land, of Salento and migrants, from the fight against ‘caporalato’ (forced labour) to the defence of the environment: Talassa winds its way through eight world tracks on lyrics in Salento dialect (but also in Greek, Italian and Arabic).
