Palestine, Diasporas and Struggles for Law, Comparing Experiences between Italy and the Occupied Territories

The meeting offers an opportunity to compare the experience of the Human Rights Legal Clinic of the Palestinian University of Al Quds – East Jerusalem, engaged in the daily defence of rights violated by the Israeli occupation, and the work of legal protection in support of the Palestinian diaspora and activists affected by repressive measures after 7 October. Italy’s arbitrary and disproportionate use of the concept of a threat to national security is, in fact, one of the consequences of this asymmetric war that is jeopardising the rights of so many foreign citizens in our country as well.
