The European Union Renounces Fundamental Rights. The impact of the new asylum system rules in European countries and the compression of the right to protection
The regulatory reforms related to the European Pact on Migration and Asylum to be implemented by June 2026 will further disrupt the overall structure of European asylum management, with a drastic reduction in the rights and guarantees of people coming to Europe in search of protection. The conference aims to offer food for thought both on the provisions that will have a greater impact on some EU Member States (Italy, Greece, Spain, Hungary and Germany) and on the political and legal challenges that will also have to be faced during this phase of the implementation of the reforms.
